Clouds, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Clouds, fluffy clouds,
High in the sky,
Giving us rain,
As they pass by.

Sometimes they’re white,
Or grey, or even black,
Bringing heavy rain,
Till the sun shines back.

White fluffy clouds,
Not for you to hold,
Bringing white snows,
When it’s very cold.

Refreshing Water, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Wonderful, awesome,
Refreshing water,
To quench your thirst,
And make you cooler.

As blue as the sky,
Or transparent, as it is,
Filling the ocean,
Or in form of mist.

Comes in many forms,
Hot or even cold,
Used and loved by all,
And it is even sold.

An unusual outbreak of December tornadoes caused by an unseasonably warm weather hit the Southeast of America from Arkansas to Michigan, killing at least 14 people in three states on Wednesday.

Dozens more were injured, and the authorities are still searching for people that are still missing.

Authorities confirmed seven deaths in Mississippi, six in Tennessee and one person in Arkansas.

Vehicles and debris scattered around the land after the massive disaster which flattened houses and trees.

Last year, tornadoes hit Mississippi, killing five and injuring dozens more.

AP reported that storms continued marching east on Thursday, dumping torrential rain that flooded roads in Alabama and caused a mudslide in the mountains of Georgia.

A Magnitude 6.0 Earthquake Rattles Kalimantan

(NST) JAKARTA: A strong 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia early on Monday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said, but no immediate damage or casualties were reported. The quake, which was relatively shallow, struck the northeastern corner of Kalimantan on the Indonesian part of Borneo island, 34 kilometres (21 miles) north of the coastal city of Tarakan, according to the USGS. The agency reported the quake hitting at a depth of 22 kilometres. Indonesia’s tsunami warning centre said there was no potential for the quake to trigger a tsunami. There were also no immediate reports of damage. The archipelago nation sits on the Pacific “Ring of Fire” where tectonic plates collide, causing frequent seismic and volcanic activity in the region. Last month, a 6.1-magnitude undersea earthquake struck eastern Indonesia that was felt in Saumlaki and prompted some residents to run outside, though the tremor had no tsunami potential, disaster officials said. Earlier in November, two powerful quakes struck Sumatra – an initial 6.1-magnitude undersea tremor followed hours later by a strong 6.4-magnitude quake.–AFP

Flags, A poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

The beauty and colours,
Of numerous flags,
Cheering our days,
On poles and bags.

Colourful flags,
In unique designs,
In awesome shapes,
Gleaming in sunshine.

Flags are symbols,
Used by all,
Countries and states,
As well as football.

Chairs, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Chairs, chairs,
Chairs everywhere,
In many colours,
Here and there.

Red, green,
Yellow and blue,
They also come,
With cushions too.

Tall, short,
Soft and rough,
My favourite is,
The ones that fluff.

Typhoon Melor or locally known as Typhoon Nona was the equivalent of a Category 4 hurricane as it moved into the Philippines on Monday.

At least 3 people were killed, one person died of hypothermia while two others drowned in floods as the typhoon carved through the central Philippines on Tuesday bringing heavy rain and strong winds that left millions without electricity in at least seven provinces.

Channel News Asia reported that Typhoon Melor whipped the vast Bicol peninsula, with a population of 5.4 million people, overnight before slamming into the Romblon islands on Tuesday morning.

Bad weather forced the cancellation of 16 domestic flights on Tuesday, adding to the 56 flights cancelled on Monday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.

Tin roofs and branches littered the streets of the city of Legazpi, which was battered by strong winds.

Gusts had weakened somewhat by Tuesday morning but were still recorded at 170 kilometres (106 miles) per hour from 185 kilometres per hour on Monday.

Rainfall amounts could top 300 mm (12 inches) in the central Philippines, especially across the higher terrain could cause life-threatening flooding and mudslides.

Kenapa Kita Tidak Boleh Bentengi Akidah Umat Islam?

(Karim’s Blog) – Kenapa MUSUH-MUSUH ISLAM sangat benci apabila kita usaha bentengi akidah Umat Islam?

Di mana salahnya kita perkasakan akidah anak-anak muda dengan penganjuran seminar dan ceramah pemurnian akidah?

PELAMPAU EVANGELIS KRISTIAN bebas berkeliaran memurtadkan orang-orang Islam – TETAPI apabila kita berusaha mendedahkan AGENDA JAHAT TIPU HELAH mereka, mereka mula membuat bising.
