Veggies, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Tomatoes, cabbages,
And potatoes too,
Veggies for everyone,
Especially for you.

Onions and turnips,
Are all very healthy,
Eggplants and carrots,
Colourful and tasty.

Red, purple and orange,
Brown, white and green,
Don’t forget to wash them,
Make sure they’re clean.

Fever

At times like this,
When you feel so sick,
You’re going to miss,
All your favourite things.

Just rest, and sleep,
And cool yourselves,
But do not weep,
When things turn bad.

You’ll soon feel good,
And happier too,
You’ll be in better mood.

When your fever’ gone,

The Mango Tree – A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

In a beautiful land,
Where bananas grow,
There’s a big mango tree,
And other plants in a row.

The tree is the biggest,
Among the rest of its type,
Biggest in the village,
And all the mangoes are ripe!

The mangoes are tasty,
Very sweet and not sour,
And there’s enough fruits,
For everyone to devour.

NaPoWriMo Poem #12: A Little Brown Bear

A little brown bear,
Under a shady tree,
Eating a green pear,
Dipped in honey.

It loves to eat fruits,
Apples, peaches and pears,
While sitting in a boot,
Sharing with its friends.

The bear goes around,
To any garden it sees,
And will usually be found,
In a bush behind a tree.

NaPoWriMo Poem #5: A Story Of Six Little Birds

Six little birds,
Playing near a hive,
One chased away,
And then left five.

Five little birds,
Running on the floor,
One fell down,
And then left four.

Four little birds,
Sitting on a tree,
One tripped and fell,
And then left three.

Three little birds,
Playing in a shoe,
One got stuck,
And then left two.

Two little birds,
Eating cinnamon bun,
One choke on the bun,
And then left one.

One little bird,
Was having some fun,
It hit a brick wall,
And there left none.

A Little Brown Fox – A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

A little brown fox,
Sits by the door,
Someone goes out,
It falls on the floor,

The little brown fox,
Sits on the roof,
The roof caves in,
It falls in a poof.

The little brown fox,
Sits on the wall,
Hit by a big blue bird,
And both of them fall!

Tasty Treat – A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Strawberries are sweet,
Oranges are sour,
Don’t forget to eat,
Lots of fruits everyday.

Potatoes are yummy,
Red chilies are hot,
Please fill your tummy,
Before it get empty.

Black tea are hot,
Iced tea are cold,
Brew them in a pot,
Drink them in a bowl.

Looking In The Sky, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Looking in the sky,
I see twinkling stars,
And the big, bright moon,
Even the planet Mars.

What seems so small,
Are bigger than we see,
All the stars up there,
Are bigger than your knee.

To see for yourself,
Is just a dream,
Except if you are,
In a great space team.

Smile – A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

A little grey cat,
Sat in the meadow,
Jumped in fright,
Of a blue bird’s shadow.

It surprised the bird,
To see the cat jump,
The bird flew away,
But it hit a stump.

The poor bird fell,
Down to the ground,
But it just smiled,
And did not even frown.

A big brown bear,
Harvested some honey,
He wanted to eat it,
After meeting his mummy.

When it returned,
The sweet honey’s gone,
But it just smiled,
It didn’t even frown

We must always smile,
And don’t ever frown,
It’ll make the world happy,
Better than a clown.

Five Little Kittens – A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Five little kittens,
Sitting on the floor,
One chased away,
And there left four.

Four little kittens,
Chasing a huge bee,
One hit a tree,
And there left three.

Three little kittens,
Playing with a shoe,
One ran away,
And there left two.

Two little kittens,
Playing in the sun,
One fell asleep,
And there left one.

One little kitten,
That becomes a knight,
Fighting for it’s tribe,
From morning till night!
